The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Amulung has been honored as a National SubayBAYANI Award exemplar by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for its exceptional performance in project monitoring and infrastructure governance.

Municipal Mayor Hon. Elpidio R. Rendon personally received the award during the SubayBAYANI Awarding Ceremony held at Meynard’s Resort, Tuguegarao City.

Joining the mayor were SB Member Marcian Francisco Donato, SB Member Heribert R. Rendon, Sir Romel Aquino (Municipal Local Government Operations Officer) and other key officials including Ma’am Irma Concepcion M. Aguiling (Municipal Planning and Development Officer), Engr. George Gannaban (Municipal Engineer), Hon. Honey Villarosa (Punong Barangay of Dadda), and several LGU staff members.

The recognition highlights the LGU’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in implementing and monitoring local development projects — a testament to the teamwork and dedication of Amulung’s local government officials and personnel.
