HON. CHRISTOPHER C. MARCOS

Hon. Christopher C. Marcos was born on April 16, 1976 at Barangay Gabut, Amulung, Cagayan. His parents are Mr. Ricarte Marcos and Mrs. Delia Marcos. He graduated at Saint Louis College of Tuguegarao, now University of Saint Louis, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Management in 1997. In 1998, he was elected as SK Chairman of Barangay Gabut, and this was the start of his journey in politics. He is not just a public servant but also a businessman because in 2006, he established his own business, the Marcos Cereal Trading and Rice Mill. He is also at present an Incorporator and member of the Board of Directors of Itawes Security Proactive Agency Inc. and a member and Vice President-elect of the Northern Sierra Madre Golden Eagles Club, a socio-civic organization in our country.  In 2013, he was elected as Punong Barangay and served the people of Gabut for nine consecutive years. In 2022, he was elected as one of the Sangguniang Bayan Members in Amulung. His standing committees are the following: Committee on Good Governance, Ethics and Public Accountability, Committee on Trade Commerce and Industry, Committee on NGO/People’s Organization Accreditation, and Committee on Cooperatives. For him, being a politician is not easy, but it can be rewarding because it gives him the chance to make a difference in the community by serving the people of Amulung with integrity, honestly, and respect. Less talk more action is his motto because he believes that what you do is more important than what you say.
