A long time ago, this place was full of bamboo, and there was also a small creek in this area. The people during that time enjoyed themselves by making “ALOLOHUNG.” Alolohung is bamboo cut into different sizes and used to catch fishes. They would simply place the “alolohung” in the shallow creek, and after a few days, retrieve it to find the fishes inside. As years passed, the people pondered what name would be best for this place. Eventually, they decided to name it “LOGUNG” because the people before were fond of making “alolohung.”
