The municipality of Amulung has brought home again the Championship title in the Cagayan Provincial Athletics Association Meet held at Allacapan, Cagayan on February 1-4, 2024, recording a back-to-back from last year.
The Team Amulung garnered 56 gold medals, 15 silver medals, and 16 bronze medals for both elementary and secondary divisions across the different contested event of the Meet. Aside from the 67 medals, the Team Amulung also received awards like Matatag Award, Disciplined Congressional Contingent, Disciplined Municipal Contingent, Organized Municipal Delegation, and Eco-Friendly Municipal Billeting Area.
The Local Government of Amulung lauded the Department of Education-Amulung East and West Districts for their commitment in supporting the student-athletes.
