Barangay
Magogod

“During the olden times, the original name of this place was the property of a person named ‘JACINTO.’ He was a haciendero and owned a vast hectare of land. The farmers living in this area were scattered.

One day, a certain group of bandits or unlawful people entered this area. The residents of this place were frightened, which led them to group themselves in a certain place not far from town due to their fear of these unlawful individuals.

In the past, many people here were illiterate. Only a few of them knew how to read and write. Nowadays, many people here are already educated, which is why they are called ‘GOOD.'”
