A long time ago, the first inhabitants of this place were from the province of Ilocos. These people wanted to seek for greener Pasteur so they went from one place to another. One of them was the late SERAPIO RAMIREZ SR. At first, he worked in Manila but he was not contented, so he moved with his townmate to Isabela, he was not also contented in Isabela and he came to know from his townmate about the place. So, he tried to live in this place, in here he found the lifestyle he wanted and found out that livelihood here was easier for him. He and his companion engaged in farming and considered this place as their last hometown because in this place they found their “LUCK” Swerte. So, from that time on, the late Serapio Ramirez Sr. named this place LA SWERTE until they shortened it to “La Suerte” which means to them as the lucky place.
